From one tea soaked page to another, he
Slips, slicing through the distorted lettering
like Asian bamboo shoots, shlew, shlew shlew,
Flying low between new paragraphs,
chop chop chopping the heads
off dotted i’s and crossed t’s.

A shower soaked, diabetic existence,
used Q-tips layer the floor,
I wish I could step out of my skin
and into a new life.
